Norse mythology

By

Recently I have been reading a book about Norse mythology. Norse mythology is the mythology the vikings made up. Odin is the father of gods, he sacrificed an eye to drink from the well of knowledge. He broke a promise with an evil wolf, who killed – or will kill him at Ragnarok, aka the end of the world. Loki is Odin’s oath-brother and he’s the god or mischief. He tricks the blind god Hod to kill balder, the god of goodness. That doesn’t end well. But luckily he ends up being captured till Ragnarok, were he fights the gods. Then there’s Freya, who rides on awesome flying carriage pushed by cats, and there’s Frey who ends up marrying a giant. Their father, Njord, also ended up marring a giant, but not really because he specifically wanted to. There’s Thor, who’s favorite hobby is crushing giants, and his wife Sif well, at one point Loki cut of her hair, but he replaced it with hair made of gold, spun by dwarves. That’s enough for now. I’ll write more later.
